Kristina Tomova is known for Love.net (2011), Family Relics (2015) and Face Down (2015).
She graduated in Illustration and Graphic Arts in the class of Prof. Rumen Skorchev and Prof. Nikolay Maystorov. Since 2002 she has participated in international biennales and triennales of graphics and in 2003 she was awarded Second Prize at the Contest for Young Graphic Artist of Foundation „Cyril and Methodius“. She is the author of the illustrations of the novel “Eleven Wooden Streets” by Ivan Markov and the author’s bibliophile edition of “Love Lyrics” inspired by Damyan Damyanov. In the meantime she has been working successfully as costume designer of Bulgarian and international films: her filmography includes the feature films VIKTORIA (2014), selected at the Sundance International film Festival, PELICAN BLOOD (2019), selected at the Venice International Film Festival, THE LESSON (2014), selected at the Toronto International Film Festival, as well as FAMILY RELICS (2015) and FACE DOWN (2016), for which she was nominated twice for Best Costume Design by the Bulgarian Film Academy.
